Despite a misleading marketing campaign hinting at high-octane action, **An Enemy Within** is actually a slow-burn, stage-like suspense thriller. Building tension through shifting trust and family secrets rather than heavy explosions, it punches above its weight given its budget constraints. It can feel overly talky at times, but fans of claustrophobic, morality-driven mysteries will find plenty to enjoy.
