Green Lantern: Beware My Power

Decent animated movie that has a fine, if not predictable story (even you're not familiar with the comic book), and the voice acting from Aldis Hodge was quite good. Also serves as a new beginning for the Lantern Corp for this animated universe line. With some tweaks I actually think this wouldn't be a bad live action movie. **3.5/5**

After having watched the Lantern's TV show, I was excited to re watch this and found this to be much more of the DC animated studios that I know. They produce such high quality yet the live-action stuff keeps trailing. The story is involved and you need to have read or be well aware of a lot of the source material to be able to appreciate all of it, but even I, with only a cursory knowledge of the stories and characters could enjoy the fun narrative here. The voice acting is lovely and the animation style works really, really well. It's been perfected by DC animations by now, and they deserve every accolade for it. I really like this, and I'm sure you will too.
