A Cut Above - Season 1

Twelve of the world's top chainsaw carvers compete in the ultimate carving competition; this grueling 12-week battle pushes the carvers to the extreme while expert judges decide who makes the cut and who's on the chopping block.

The judges have a big surprise in store and a shocking elimination sends the carvers reeling.

The remaining carvers must design and create birdhouses, then recreate insects on a massive scale.

The competition heats up as carvers start to rack up wins, but they must bring their A-game as one tiny mistake could send someone packing.

The carvers create and race cars, while the Master Carve pairs them up in a team challenge; they must work together or face the axe.

The chainsaw woodcarving contestants compete in another tough challenge. Each carver must complete the challenge in the allotted time and turn their block of woods into stunning masterpieces.

The Master Carve gets personal. One carver finds redemption. An emotional elimination ceremony takes hold of the carvers.

A shocking twist kicks off this week's challenges. The judges' expectations increase, along with the pressure to win.

The carvers create headgear and then travel back in time to create a story of evolution.

The remaining carvers are taken for a ride by this week's Quick Carve; they must defy gravity in the Master Carve to make it to the finale.

In the penultimate challenge, the carvers are under pressure more than ever, as only three will advance to the final.

In the season finale, three of the world’s best chainsaw carvers face off in the ultimate final challenge to earn $50,000, and the glory of being named “A Cut Above”!
