In Dudley, after gunfire rips through a young mother's front door and a shot strikes her in the hip, the team are tasked with identifying the perpetrators, leaving no stone unturned.

Following a targeted shooting in West Bromwich, the unit must act fast to track the perpetrators' vehicle, facing a race against time to bring charges against the suspects.

Six men with machetes, swarm a vehicle, bundling the driver into a car's boot. With little to go on, police must reconstruct the attack from digital, financial and forensic evidence.

In Wolverhampton, a car mounts the pavement and strikes a man before passing over him again. The passenger then takes the victim's belongings, and both occupants leave the scene. After the victim is hospitalised and requires surgery, West Midlands Police's Major Crime Unit takes over the investigation. Surveillance footage provides key evidence of the incident, but the suspects have disappeared, leaving detectives to trace their movements and establish what happened.
