After an illness, Holmes reluctantly takes a holiday with Watson for company and ends up investigating an unexplained tragedy that occurred to three siblings after a quiet evening at home playing cards.

Holmes investigates the disappearance of a champion racehorse and the murder of its trainer on a lonely moor.

Wisteria Lodge
A bored Holmes eagerly accepts a case involving the disappearance of an amateur Spanish cartographer as well as his servants from his rented country lodge.

The Bruce Partington Plans
Sherlock's brother Mycroft enlists his younger sibling to locate missing patent plans that pertain to a strategically critical state-of-the-art submarine.

The Hound of the Baskervilles
Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead with his face contorted in terror and the footprints of a huge dog near his body. His heir engages Holmes to get to the bottom of the age-old family curse of the phantom hound.
